§ Terms and conditions
Terms and conditions.
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These general terms are being finalized with legal counsel. No retreat is available to book yet, and no booking will be accepted until final terms are in place.
These terms explain how this website, the invitation list, and RE/CREATE retreats work. Each retreat will also have its own Retreat Terms, including the supplier terms that apply to it. You will see them before you book.
1. Who we are
RE/CREATE creates wellness-led retreats and gatherings for women leaders. It was created by Chericka Johnson and Karina Villalta and is powered by SistaCircle. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean RE/CREATE, and "you" means anyone who uses this website, joins the invitation list, or books a retreat.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. The words, design, logo, and founder photographs belong to RE/CREATE or are used with permission. Other photographs are licensed stock images and are illustrative only; they do not show guests or confirmed venues. Please do not copy or reuse our content without written permission.
We work to keep information on this website accurate, but details such as availability, destinations, and pricing are confirmed only in the Retreat Terms for each retreat.
3. The invitation list
Joining the invitation list means you would like to receive announcements about RE/CREATE retreats and gatherings. It does not reserve a place, create a booking, or commit you to anything. You can ask to be removed at any time. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
4. The Room Assessment
The Room Assessment is a reflection tool. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice, and it does not diagnose anything. Please speak with a qualified professional about any concerns regarding your health or well-being.
5. How retreat terms work
Every RE/CREATE retreat relies on suppliers such as hotels, venues, transport companies, and spa and activity providers. Each retreat will have its own Retreat Terms that set out:
- Dates, destination, accommodation, and what is and is not included
- The price, deposit, payment schedule, and accepted payment methods
- Cancellation, change, and refund terms, including any deadlines
- The suppliers involved and the supplier terms that apply to you
- Accessibility information, physical demands of activities, and any requirements to attend
A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing after you have accepted the Retreat Terms and made any required payment. If these general terms and the Retreat Terms for a specific retreat differ, the Retreat Terms apply to that retreat.
6. Supplier terms
Suppliers are independent businesses, and their own terms and policies, including cancellation and refund rules, may apply to parts of your retreat. We will tell you which supplier terms apply before you book. Where a supplier's policy limits what can be refunded or changed, the Retreat Terms will explain how that affects you.
7. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payment, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in the Retreat Terms for each retreat, because they depend on the suppliers and destination involved. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover, for every retreat.
8. Changes we may need to make
Occasionally we may need to change part of a retreat, for example because a supplier changes its services, or because of weather, safety, or circumstances beyond our control. If that happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer a comparable alternative where possible. If we have to cancel a retreat, your options will be as set out in the Retreat Terms.
9. Your responsibilities
- Giving us accurate information when you book
- Holding valid travel documents, visas, and any required vaccinations for the destination
- Telling us before you book about access needs, dietary requirements, or health considerations relevant to the activities
- Choosing which activities to take part in, and asking your doctor if you are unsure an activity is right for you
- Treating other guests, hosts and suppliers with respect. We may ask a guest to leave a retreat if her conduct puts others' safety or experience at risk, as further described in the Retreat Terms.
10. Wellness activities
Retreat activities such as restorative movement, spa treatments, and time outdoors are offered for rest and enjoyment. They are not medical treatment or therapy. Participation is always your choice.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by suppliers' acts or omissions, by events beyond our reasonable control, or by your choice to take part in an activity. Specific liability terms for each retreat will be set out in the Retreat Terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these general terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to your use of the website. The Retreat Terms you accept when booking apply to that booking.
